Holland & Barrett powers up greener supply chain with Ridelogix
E-cargo bikes and inventory analytics software from Ridelogix to support approximately 100 Holland & Barrett stores in London .
Holland & Barrett, the UK’s leading wellness retailer, is scaling its partnership with RideLogix, a smart supply chain technology platform powered by e-cargo bikes, following a successful pilot in London.
Working with RideLogix, Holland & Barrett will be able to leverage technology to monitor stock levels in its London stores and receive a warning if popular products are likely to run out. The retailer can then redeploy stock from other stores using the zero emissions e-cargo bikes.
During the pilot period, the Ridelogix platform helped Holland & Barrett deliver more than 60,000 replenishment units across 5000+ deliveries to fill out-of-stock gaps and keep shoppers happy. The successful pilot has led to an expansion of 100 stores, strengthening the partnership.
John Jones, Head of Fulfilment Transformation at Holland & Barrett, comments: “Our customers look to us for natural, ethical and sustainable products, so partnering with Ridelogix reinforces our commitment to delivering what our customers need, when they need it and with minimal environmental impact.”
John Jones continues, “The original pilot started with just 10 stores and helped us restock faster and more efficiently, so we’re thrilled to be rolling it out across our wider store network in London.”
Ridelogix co-founder Serhat Kyuchuk-Pakyuz adds, “We’re thrilled to have a sustainable retailer like Holland & Barrett on board. Our technology turns city stores into agile micro-fulfilment hubs by combining real-time stock monitoring with zero-emission logistics.”
Kyuchuk-Pakyuz continues, “Traditional vans are often underutilised and struggle with congestion in cities like London. E-cargo bikes offer a smarter alternative, navigating restricted lanes and side roads while carrying up to 200kg payload. They’re not just greener – they’re also faster and more efficient for urban retail logistics.”
