Ridelogix joins BGV portfolio in Spring 2024 cohort

London software company Ridelogix has today announced that it has joined the BGV portfolio. BGV, Europe’s leading early-stage tech for good VC, selected Ridelogix and 9 other exciting start-ups from a pool of over 360 applications.

Co-founded by London Business School alumni Lili and Serhat Kyuchuk-Pakyuz, Ridelogix has developed an innovative smart urban supply chain platform. This platform harnesses operating data from retailer systems to optimize inventory across urban branches, facilitating synchronized delivery schedules for zero-emissions e-Cargo bike couriers. By reducing out-of-stock rates and upstream over-production, Ridelogix enhances retailer profitability and sustainability.

Serhat Kyuchuk-Pakyuz explains further, “What we’ve noticed in our conversations with retailers is that predicting demand across dense city store locations is very challenging. Having too little or too much inventory in one location is difficult to solve with traditional forecasting methods alone. A more flexible inventory operating model in busy city centres can help retailers sell more with less inventory. That’s why we invented Ridelogix, to help bring predictive inventory analytics and delivery execution into one smart platform.”

“We’re excited to have Ridelogix join BGV’s Spring 2024 cohort alongside other amazing tech for good ventures. We were particularly impressed by Serhat and Lili as a founding team, who demonstrated deep domain expertise in the sector they are targeting, and how much they’ve learned from their users to build a great product, signalling a great aptitude to learn and pivot where necessary”, says Melanie Hayes, Managing Partner and Investment Director at BGV.

Lili Kyuchuk-Pakyuz sees this as an important milestone, “Joining the BGV portfolio is a significant stepping stone for us, and we look forward to working with the team and their network on continuously improving the ways we serve our customers and address their biggest pain points. We are confident that BGV’s platform, expertise, and mentorship together with the deeper knowledge we are gaining through increasing number of retailer conversations will put us in a great position for further growth funding.”

To connect with Ridelogix, catch them at Shoptalk Europe from June 3rd to 5th, 2024, in Barcelona, or simply request a demo through the website.
